The objective of this project is to develop a localised version of OpenOffice.org in British English for use throughout Europe, the Commonwealth and other countries where British English is a more appropriate choice than American English.
OpenOffice.org is available for a wide range of different computing platforms and a large number of different languages.
This work is for the forthcoming OOo 2.0 release. The plan is to have a fully localised British English version available at release. Unfortunately due to the way OpenOffice.org 1.1.x was built it was not possible to release a public version of it in British English.
